The ERICHSEN Model 618 Is A Corrosion Testing Chamber Designed For Accelerated Corrosion And Environmental Durability Testing. It Is Used To Simulate Harsh Conditions Such As Salt Spray, Humidity, Condensation, And Cyclic Temperature Changes So That Materials, Coatings, And Finished Parts Can Be Tested Under Controlled Laboratory Conditions. It Has A Corrosion-Resistant Chamber Construction Made Of Glass-Fibre-Reinforced Plastic, A Pneumatic Opening System For Easy Sample Handling, And A Colour Touch-Screen Control Panel For Programming And Monitoring Test Parameters. It Can Store Multiple Test Programs, Control Humidity Up To About 95%, And Operate At Chamber Temperatures Up To +50 °C. With An Optional Compact Climate Unit, It Can Also Cool The Test Chamber Down To -20 °C Or Even -40 °C, Depending On The Version. The System Is Equipped For Data Logging Via Ethernet And Includes A Separate Tank For The Spray Solution. In Short, This Is An Industrial Corrosion Test Machine Used For Quality Control, Materials Testing, And Compliance With International Testing Standards.
